Jennifer Andrade represents healthcare providers and other healthcare industry clients in complex litigation matters, drawing from her experience in insurance defense, healthcare regulatory compliance and patient privacy.

Jennifer brings a unique perspective to healthcare litigation, having worked in both legal and regulatory roles throughout her career. Previously, she served as a contractor for the U.S. Department of Health and Human Services, Office for Civil Rights (HHS/OCR), where she investigated alleged HIPAA privacy violations, cybersecurity breaches and civil rights complaints involving healthcare systems, providers, health plans and their business associates. This experience provided her with firsthand insight into the regulatory environment in which healthcare organizations operate.

Building on her regulatory experience, Jennifer subsequently served as a Senior Compliance and Privacy Specialist for two prominent healthcare organizations, working on matters involving patient privacy, regulatory compliance, and risk management.

Jennifer's most recent litigation background includes representing healthcare insurers in complex disputes and defending major insurance companies in workers' compensation matters. Her combined experience in litigation, regulatory and healthcare compliance enables her to approach client matters with an understanding of both the legal and operational challenges facing healthcare organizations.

Jennifer earned her Juris Doctor from Southwestern Law School in 2018, where she was recognized as a Latino Prosecutors Foundation Scholar. During law school, she gained experience in several areas of law, including serving as a law clerk with the Los Angeles County District Attorney's Office, Post-Conviction and Discovery Unit.
