Shayna E. Dickstein is an associate with Scali Rasmussen’s Labor and Employment practice group. She represents employers in all aspects of employment litigation, including wage and hour class actions and claims of harassment, discrimination, retaliation, and wrongful termination. Ms. Dickstein has litigated cases in state and federal courts and has handled numerous cases from inception through resolution. She also advises clients on employment policies to ensure compliance with local, state and federal laws.
Prior to joining Scali Rasmussen, Ms. Dickstein practiced employment law at a national law firm. Before that, she worked at a boutique law firm specializing in employment law, where her experience included taking and defending numerous depositions and third-chairing a three-week jury trial. Prior to being sworn in, Ms. Dickstein worked as a foreign associate at a law firm in Santiago, Chile, where her practice included advising local and international companies on Chilean labor law.
Ms. Dickstein earned her Juris Doctor degree at Columbia Law School. She graduated cum laude from the University of California, Los Angeles with her Bachelor’s degree in History and a minor in Spanish Literature. She spent a semester of law school studying in Argentina, and she studied abroad in Italy and Costa Rica through the University of California. She is fluent in Spanish.
